Guest Service Agent - Perth City Hotel

We are one of Perth city’s iconic establishments with sweeping city and river views. The Metro Hotel in South Perth is a Corporate Hotel with an extensive function and events department.

Having undergone a large refurbishment last year we are seeking experienced Full-Time and Casual Guest Service Agents to join our Front Office team.

Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, your duties and responsibilities will involve but are not limited to:

· Welcoming all guests to the hotel in an efficient and friendly manner.

· Treating each guest as an individual, tailoring and personalising your approach to provide outstanding service.

· Checking in and Checking Out our guests.

· Handling all guest enquiries, and providing information on Perth attractions.

Our Guest Service Agent will;

· Be highly personable and enthusiastic about customer service.

· MUST have 2 years experience in a Hotel Front Office role.

· Willing to go above and beyond for our customers and Team Members.

· Have immaculate grooming and professional presentation.

· Be innovative in thinking of ways to “wow” our guests.

· Be available to work a 7 day roster on both morning and evening shifts and above all be able to take reservations accurately.

Our hotel is undergoing major changes over the forthcoming year with a re-development that will include a new restaurant, kitchen, banqueting and function facilities.

Our team is headed by an international chef, if you would like to learn from the best we are now putting the team together who will lead and stamp their identity on the hotels food service business.

Accounts Clerk / Officer Wanted in the Sydney CBD

Inner-CBD hotel currently recruiting for an Accounts Clerk in a full-time capacity.

Reporting to the General Manager your duties will include:

• Accounts Receivable
• Reconciliations
• Posting and allocating payments
• Handle and resolve accounting queries / disputes
• Monthly reconciliation of debtors
• Generate accurate and timely reports
• Mail collection and distribution
• Various administrative duties

The ideal candidate would have:

• Previous experience in an accounting role.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Previous role in the hospitality industry advantageous
• Have a “can do” attitude

This role is based in the hotel, Monday to Friday from 8.00am until 4.00pm. Immediate start preferred.
