Join the event and functions team at the very busy Metro Hotel located on Canning Hwy Perth.
We are seeking an experienced hospitality person with a professional business attitude who is able to deliver exceptional customer service.
Answerable to and working with the Metro Hotel Perth sales team your focus will be liaising with private conference organisers and catering for their needs and requirements.
Your attention to detail must be second to none.
You MUST have the following experience and abilities to be considered for this role.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage including costs
- Ability to use Excel and other micro soft applications at a high level of proficiency
- Financial management and reporting skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and effectively manage time
Ability
- Able to develop and maintain professional relationships
- Exceptional communication skills
- Willing to learn
- Ability to work in teams
- Accept that working hours are flexible and will include weekends when required
The successful candidate must be able to work in Australia and will be required to provide a National Police Clearance.
